Meeting Information and Directions

Meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm. Professional networking before and after the meeting. SSQA attendance qualifies for RUs towards recertification by ASQ and other professional organizations.

TYPICAL MEETING FORMAT:

Doors open at 6:30 pm
Register if not pre-registered, pick up badge
Meeting starts at 7:00 pm (in one of the rooms near the lobby -- security will direct you)
Attendees introduction (5 minutes)
SSQA and ASQ announcements (5 minutes)
Speaker introduction (5 minutes)
Speaker presentation (45 to 75 minutes)
Q&A and discussion (up to 15 minutes)
Post-meeting networking (until 8:30 pm)

Directions to eBay and the meeting:

From San Francisco and the Peninsula: take I-280 to CA 17 or US 101 to I-880 (I-880 becomes CA 17 at the I-280 crossing). Exit southbound (toward Santa Cruz). Exit Hamilton Ave east bound (left turn on Hamilton). Pass Bascom Ave and make the next left beyond at Greylands Dr. The parking lot is immediately on the right, the building 7 just beyond on the north side of the parking lot (marked "A" on the map below).

From Oakland and the East Bay: take I-880 or I-680 south. (I-880 becomes CA 17 at the I-280 crossing.) Either way, take CA 17 to Hamilton Ave, the first exit south of I-280; exit east (left turn on Hamilton) and proceed as above.

From points southeast, take CA 85 to CA 17 north (toward San Jose) to get to Hamilton Ave. (second exit). Get onto eastbound Hamilton Ave. by turning left onto Creekside Way and right onto Hamilton Ave. Proceed on Hamilton Ave. as described above.

From the Santa Cruz direction, take CA 17 north to Hamilton Ave and, again, proceed as above.
